Ordering and Payment:
For virtual cake shop orders, we require full payment upfront to secure your order. This ensures a smooth process and confirms your commitment to the selected items. On the other hand, bespoke cakes and confections involve a two-step payment process. A non-refundable deposit is due within 36 hours of receiving an invoice, emphasizing the importance of a timely response. The remaining non-refundable balance is then expected by a specified date, solidifying the agreement and allowing ample time for our meticulous preparation.
Due to the custom nature of our cakes and the immediate start of preparation upon order placement, we generally do not welcome changes after an order is confirmed. Once an order is placed, our team begins preparations promptly to ensure the highest quality and attention to detail. However, we understand that preferences may evolve, and alterations may be necessary. If an alteration request is made within our means and before the final payment due date, we'll make every effort to accommodate it. We value open communication and will work closely with you to ensure your order aligns with your vision whenever possible.
Delivery and Setup:
Ensuring the safe delivery and setup of our creations is a priority. Fees for delivery and setup are thoughtfully included in the final price, reflecting the unique aspects of each venue. While we strive for perfection, it's crucial to note that once the cake leaves our hands, the sole responsibility for its condition upon pickup and setup rests solely with the client. Clients play a crucial role in this process by providing a secure table and maintaining an optimal room temperature, contributing to the overall success of the presentation.
External Elements and Liability:
For those desiring external elements like flowers, we offer this service for an additional fee. It's important to acknowledge that once the cake leaves our care, the liability for its condition upon pickup and setup rests solely with the client. This underscores the need for a secure transport and setup process, ensuring the cake arrives at its final destination in impeccable condition.
Photography and Promotion:
We take pride in our creations and reserve the right to use photographs of the cakes for promotional purposes. This not only showcases our work but also contributes to the overall recognition of our unique and bespoke designs.
Transparency about allergens is crucial. Our cakes contain gluten, dairy, and egg products. While efforts are made for certain cakes to be nut or gluten-free, it's important to note that shared equipment handles items with nuts, gluten, and dairy. Traces of these allergens may be present in all our products. Additionally, non-edible items such as flowers, cake toppers, cake charms, and internal stabilization rods (for tall cakes) should be removed before serving.
The beauty of our cakes lies in their unique, edible artistry. Customization options for cake shop orders are intentionally limited to maintain the integrity of the presented designs. Each cake may exhibit slight variations in appearance due to decor availability and the chosen size. These variations contribute to the individuality of each creation.
While we strive to adhere closely to displayed designs, the availability of flowers and other decorations may be subject to change. In such cases, we may substitute certain florals or products with similar items to maintain the overall aesthetic. Consequently, the received arrangements may not be identical to the images displayed on our website menu, but we ensure the substituted items align with the overall theme and quality.
At Chic Little Cakes, we stand by the quality of our bespoke creations. Your satisfaction is paramount, and in the rare event of dissatisfaction, we offer a robust refund policy. To qualify for a refund, we kindly request that 80% or more of the product be returned. This allows us to assess and address your concerns comprehensively. However, it's essential to initiate the return within 2 hours of delivery or pickup to maintain the freshness and quality of our products. Our commitment is not just to provide a refund, but to ensure that your experience with us is met with understanding and the utmost care. If you find yourself dissatisfied, please contact our customer service within the specified timeframe, and we'll work closely with you to find a resolution that exceeds your expectations.
Once preparation begins, including product ordering and baking, no refunds are provided for cancellations. Chic Little Cakes, at our discretion, may consider cancellation and refund requests based on specific circumstances. Any approved refunds for orders placed through our website will be credited at our discretion. For cancellation requests, please contact our Customer Service Team at firstname.lastname@example.org. While we aim to accommodate your needs, please be aware that certain requests may not be feasible due to our order processing schedule.
The successful performance of our agreement is contingent upon various factors, some of which may be beyond our control. These include labor disputes, strikes, accidents, Acts of God, and other unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding in recognizing that such occurrences may impact our ability to fulfill the agreement.
